How small-to-midsize firms can not only survive, but flourish, in an age of compressed margins, increasing regulation and tough competition, was a major theme at the HFM Boston Operational Leaders Summit, sponsored by FundCount and other companies.
FundCount led a roundtable discussion entitled “Tackling technology: selection, implementation & security.” In all three sessions, participants voiced the same concerns.

Kicking Off the New Year
What better way to start 2018 than with a new FundCount product release?
Introducing Release 3.0.2, which offers new features and functionality to help your firm streamline business processes and manage documents more efficiently.
One of the most significant features in the release is FC Document Management. This new optional module enables users to store documents by funds or accounts, transactions, partners, instruments or investments, and contacts. Once stored, a paper clip icon will be displayed on many standard reports to provide easy access to the documents.
FundCount continues to grow. We are pleased to welcome these new employees:
Mary McAuliffe has recently joined FundCount as Technical Write= r, where she will apply her more than 20 years of experience using language to bring software products closer to customers and to enrich FundCount’s user documentation. Mary joins FundCount from State Street Bank, where she wrote processes and procedures for a new data-analytics business.
FundCount also welcomes Britney Mayala, Administrative Assistant, who will provide administrative, financial recordkeeping, secretarial and other support for the company. Britney is currently studying accounting and economics at Bridgewater State University. She is looking forward to graduating in May.
Both Mary and Britney are located in the Boston office.
Fraenzi Planzer is the newest member to join FundCount in Zurich, Switzerland. Fraenzi’s commercial background and prior experience working in international companies will be a great asset in her role as assistant to the European Managing Director.
In addition to the new employees above, four new developers and a customer service/implementations specialist have also recently joined the growing FundCount family.
